Dr. Mohamed Arafa earned his dental degree from Cairo University in 1997, graduating with highest honors before completing a General Practice Residency at the university's Cancer Institute.

After moving to New Jersey, he joined a large multi-office dental group, completing over 100 hours of continuing education. His pursuit of excellence led him to Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry followed by a fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.

During his time at Columbia, Dr. Arafa served as Chief Resident, a recognition of both his skill and dedication to patient care.

With over 500 hours of advanced training in implant dentistry and oral surgery, Dr. Arafa focuses on implant placement and restoration, full-mouth rehabilitation, and digital restorative and prosthetic dentistry. He is licensed in New York and Virginia, and known for combining technical mastery with modern tools to restore function, comfort, and confidence in every smile.

Dr. Arafa takes time to understand each patient's goals, explain every option, and plan treatment with empathy and precision. His philosophy centers on restoring balance—where aesthetics, comfort, and long-term health all align naturally.
